Second session of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists was held on Monday, October 14th, 2019, starting at 13h, at the library “Nikola Pašić” in Belgrade. Reports on previously held conferences were presented during the session: report on the 18th Scientific Meeting in Kragujevac whose topic was “Institutional Changes as a Determinant of the Republic of Serbia’s Economic Development”, held on April 12th, 2019, at the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, report on the Regional Summit of Finance Ministers, Governors and Tax Administration Directors titled “Financial and Monetary Stability of the Region in Conditions of Slower Economic Growth in the Euro Area” held from June 13th to June 15th, 2019, in Bečići, as well as the report on the Belgrade Young Economists Conference, held from June 23rd to June 24th, 2019, at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade.

Over the further course of the session, the work program for the upcoming period was presented. The Fourth International Conference on Future Education will be held from November 12th to November 13th, 2019, in Belgrade at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. More than 50 renowned speakers from all over the world, members of prestigious education and science institutions, as well as of the World Academy of Art and Science and the Club of Rome, have confirmed their attendance. In addition to foreign participants, approximately 40 members of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, University of Belgrade, Serbian Association of Economists and the Serbian Chapter of the Club of Rome will actively participate in the conference.

The Niš Economic Forum (Counseling Meeting), organized by the Economic Association of Niš and the Serbian Association of Economists, will be held as part of the Forum of Advanced Technologies on November 28th, 2019, at the Officers Club in Niš, and the topic of the meeting will be “Economy and Advanced Technologies”.

Serbian Association of Economists has been working intensively on preparing the Kopaonik Business Forum, which is to be held from March 1st to March 4th at Kopaonik under the title “Industry 4.0 and Related Topics”. More than 1,500 participants, approximately 150 introductory speakers and panellists are expected to attend. The Forum’s program is planned to include thirty panel discussions, seven special events, two plenary sessions and two special addresses covering ongoing economic, political and social topics in Serbia and the region. In addition to this, hardtalk interviews with eminent persons will be organized for the first time, as well as addresses by three special foreign guests. The program of the Forum will be published during the second half of December.
