In cooperation with the World Academy of Art and Science and the World University Consortium, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, University of Belgrade and the Serbian Chapter of the Club of Rome, the Serbian Association of Economists organizes the Fourth International Conference on Future Education. The conference will be held from November 12th to November 13th in Belgrade at the premises of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mrs Ana Brnabić, and the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Mr. Mladen Šarčević, will open the conference. Participants of the conference are also: President of the World Academy of Art and Science, Professor Heitor Gurgulino de Souza, CEO of WAAS, Mr. Garry Jacobs, as well as the President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Professor Vladimir Kostić. Mrs Fadwa El Guindi, a renowned anthropologist, and Mr. Chenyang Li, a well-known Neo-Confucian philosopher from Singapore, have also confirmed their attendance and participation.
During the two-day conference, six plenary sessions will be held:
• Strategic Audit of New Education Challenges and Opportunities
• Digital Opportunities at All Educational Levels
• New Education: From Leadership in Thought to Effective Action
• Education for Full Employment
• Person-Centered Education
The sixth plenary session will include four presentations with specifically selected topics of interest for future education. Each of the plenary sessions will be followed by three parallel panels.
More than 50 renowned speakers from all over the world, members of prestigious education and science institutions, as well as of the World Academy of Art and Science and the Club of Rome, have confirmed their attendance. In addition to foreign participants, approximately 40 members of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, University of Belgrade, Serbian Association of Economists and the Serbian Chapter of the Club of Rome will actively participate in the conference.
