He was born in Zemun, where he graduated elementary school "Svetozar Miletić" and Zemun high school. He completed graduate and postgraduate studies at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics.

He has been employed at the Economic Institute for 27 years. He was engaged as an intern, researcher, expert associate, project manager, Consulting Director, Executive Director, General Director, President of the Shareholders' Assembly. He has been the co-owner and general manager for the last 11 years.

He is the honorary consul of Georgia in Serbia. He is a regular member of the Serbian Business Club "Privrednik". He is a member of the Council of the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, the Presidency of the Association of Serbian Economists and the Serbian Association of Managers.

He published several papers and actively participated in dozens of domestic and international conferences.

He was a member of the management body of several companies in Serbia.

He was never a member of any political party.

He has never been employed in a social or state enterprise and public administration.

He is the son of Anđelko and Miljanka and the father of Petar and Vasilije.
