After graduation at Faculty of Economy on Belgrade University in 1995, Dragijana Radonjic Petrovic started her professional career as a broker at Belgrade Discount Centre. In 1997, she moved to the same position in broker-dealer company M&V Investments. Shortly after joining the company, she became the General Manager and made the company a leader in domestic securities market.
From April 2010 to August 2012, she was appointed State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, responsible for regional development and entrepreneurship promotion in Serbia. She was also in charge of coordination of EU IOA and bilateral donor assistance within the Ministry's competences, in total amount near 150 million euro.
In August 2012, she was appointed Special Advisor to the Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Economy, in charge of entrepreneurship and competitiveness and as such initiated preparation of legislation and programs for strengthening these areas. She has been a coordinator of the team experts that successfully managed the last three sovereign Eurobond issues. She was also appointed National Authorizing Officer and as such has significantly accelerated establishing the system of decentralized management of EU funds.
She is a founder and a partner in a consulting firm MD Solution since May 2014.
Mrs. Petrović is very committed to the development of economic profession and social engagement. She is member of the Executive Board of the Association of Business Women in Serbia, Vice President of Serbian Association of Economists, member of the Executive Board of the Business Club “Privrednik” and of Association of Corporate Directors of Serbia.
She is member of the Supervisory Board of Knjaz Miloš company, member of the Board of Directors of Messer Tehnogas AD Belgrade and member of the Supervisory Board of Uniqa Life Insurance.
In December 2017, she is appointed to the position of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Philippines in the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade.
