Ljubomir Nedeljković was born in 1963 in Belgrade. After completing elementary and high school in Belgrade, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade in 1990. He then completed his specialized postgraduate studies at the same faculty in early 1993, with his research focusing on "International Business Management."
He began his professional career in 1990 at Inex_Interexport Company in Belgrade. In 1993, he moved to Russia, where he held the position of Director of Representative Offices in Tyumen until 1999, and then in Moscow until 2002.
From 2002 to 2007, he worked at the Ministry of Mining and Energy as a "Special Advisor to the Minister for Oil and Gas."
From 2007 to 2016, he served as a Special Advisor to the President of MOL Group for the Balkan region.
Since 2016, he has been working as the Director of MET SRB doo Belgrade, a company member of MET Group, based in Canton of Zug, Switzerland. 
MET Group is an integrated European energy company, headquartered in Switzerland, with activities in natural gas and power, focused on multi-commodity wholesale, trading and sales, as well as energy infrastructure and industrial assets. https://group.met.com/en/about-us/about-our-company   
Ljubomir Nedeljković is fluent in Russian and English. 
He is married and a father of two children.
