Aleksandar Marković, a graduate mechanical engineer, was born on November 25, 1965, in Gornji Milanovac.
He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, specializing in production engineering.
He began his professional career in 1993 at Metalac a.d., working as a construction and mechanical technology reference specialist. Through his experience, professional development, personal qualities, and ambitions, he achieved continuous advancements. Starting from 1998, he led the project for the construction of a stainless steel cookware factory and subsequently managed the Profit Center for stainless steel cookware and sinks. From 2005, he held positions as Technical Director and Director of Development at Metalac a.d. Following the reorganization of Metalac into a holding company, from 2006 to 2018, he served as the Director of Metalac posuđa d.o.o., the largest company within the Metalac Group.
From April 2018 to June 2022, he held the position of CEO of Metalac a.d. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director for Commercial Affairs at Unipromet d.o.o., based in Čačak. Unipromet is a regional leader in the production of steel safety barriers for highways. Since 2018, he has also been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "P.S. Fashion Design" d.o.o. in Čačak.
In addition to his formal education, he has successfully completed numerous professional training programs in strategic management, business economics, managerial accounting and management, as well as the General Management Program at the IEDC Bled School of Business. He has also participated in various programs offered by the Mokra Gora School of Management, Adizes, and other training courses.
