Vojislav Lazarević was born in 1975 in Podgorica, Montenegro. He holds a BSc degree in Business Administration major Accounting with Finance of the Deree College, Athens, Greece, and an MSc degree in Economic Sciences of the Union University, Belgrade.
Since February 2018, Mr. Lazarević is on a position of the Chairman of the Executive Board of Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd. From 2016-2018, he had the position of the CEO of Piraeus Bank Belgrade, being in charge of strategic and organisational activities. In the period 2009 – 2016, he was a Member of the Executive Board of Vojvođanska banka a.d. Novi Sad in charge of coordination and supervision of financial markets, broker-dealer activities and financial counselling, as well as corporate banking. He was also responsible for the coordination of the Marketing and Communications Division. In the period 2008 – 2009, he held the position of the Investment Banking and Financial Markets General Manager at Vojvođanska banka. At the National Bank of Greece, he was a Member of the Executive Board in the period 2006 – 2008, and in the period 2005 - 2006, he established the Retail Division at the position of the General Manager Assistant, being in charge of large corporates and supervision of financial markets and business development. In the period 2001 – 2005, he held the position of the Deputy CEO of the National Bank of Greece. He was also engaged in FX trading in the interbank market at the Societe Generale Bank, Athens, in the period 1999 - 2001.
He speaks English and Greek. Lives in Belgrade, married and a father of two.
