Bogdan Kuzmanović completed his undergraduate studies at the  Faculty of Economics, University of Novi Sad. He received his master's degree at the same faculty (1997). He received his PhD (2005) from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, where he was employed as a full professor in the field of insurance, preventive engineering and risk management at undergraduate, master and doctoral studies. His graduate, mater's thesis and doctoral thesis were in the field of risk management and insurance. He is also a full professor in the field of bioethical sciences, a narrow field of risk management at the EDUCONS University in Sremska Kamenica.
 He has a wealth of work experience in the economy. For more than 20 years he worked in the company DDOR Novi Sad ADO where he performed the duties of director of property insurance, transport and agriculture.  His specialty was the insurance of international transport and credit. He was the CEO of the period when DDOR Novi Sad had the most dynamic growth and the best results in its history. He was the President of the Board of Directors of DDOR Bank, Metals Bank ad Novi Sad, Road Company "Novi Sad", Institute for Field and Vegetable Crops - NS SEME. In addition to his work at the Faculty, he is engaged in Transnafta AD in the positions of General Manager.  He is one of the founders and a member of the first board of the "Serbian Association of Managers" founded in Belgrade on November 27, 2006, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, deputy speaker of the assembly and member of the Supervisory Board of the Regional Chamber of Commerce novi sad. He is currently vice president of the Presidency of the Serbian Senate of Economy, a member of the Presidency of the Union of Economists of Vojvodina (2004) and a member of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists. He was also a long-time member of the Board of Water Polo Federation of Serbia (2004-2014), member of the Management Board of the Sports Society Crvena Zvezda (2006-2010), President of the Board of Directors of KK "Vojvodina" Novi Sad (2018-2022).
He was a mentor on more than 200 graduate and master theses, a mentor on the preparation of several doctoral dissertations and a member of the committee for evaluation and defense of a large number of graduate and master theses and doctoral dissertations at the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad.
He is the author and co-author of four textbooks, two monographs and more than 150 papers in the fields of organization, management, risk management and insurance.
He is married, has three children, lives and works in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
