Jasna is a professor in applied economics, researcher, and consultant. She is a member of the presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists, director of Economic Advisory at EY for Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia & Herzegovina, and an associate professor of economics at the University of Novi Sad, in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science. She made significant contributions to the modernization of public administration as the first director of the Public Policy Secretariat of the Government of Serbia (2014-2018), where she implemented a new planning system, promoted an evidence-based approach in policymaking and regulatory impact assessment in the lawmaking process, and facilitated policy coordination across sectors. Prior to this role, she served as the chief economist at Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank in Serbia (2009-2014). She holds a PhD in economics from the University of Paris 1-Sorbonne. In 2023, as a Fulbright scholar, she was a visiting research fellow at Georgetown University (USA).
